Emmaus Journey recently welcomed Salem and Lorena Farmand to our EJ Staff team. He will serve as a local EJ Staff Member and National Development Associate—a role that beautifully blends his gifts in fundraising and spiritual accompaniment.
Salem and Lorena’s journey to Emmaus was born out of a season of deep prayer and discernment. He and his wife felt a growing call to a slower, more contemplative rhythm of life—one rooted in the Eucharist, Scripture, and the sanctification of family life.
EJ Companions have made up their mind: They're not going to let a day go by without getting into the Word of God.
The Daily Lectionary Reading Record is a schedule of selected Bible readings that the Roman Catholic Church and many churches follow for worship services.
You can use it to look up the Catholic Church's readings for the day in your own Bible.
Then you can be a disciple who encounters the Word daily, even if you can't make it to Mass!
